I took my car to this location on Friday February 14th, 2020 for an emissions test after making an appointment for the service. I scheduled the service for 9:00am. I arrived 10 minutes early for the appointment only to be informed by the service technician that was at the front counter that my appointment was "actually" scheduled for 9:30am on that day (even though I had a confirmation email in my inbox indicating that the service was scheduled for 9:00), and that the owner "outsources" the appointment scheduling to a 3rd party. I was also informed that the owner (Sonny) is also the inspector, and that he had not arrived yet. I decided to overlook the scheduling error, go get coffee and come back at 9:30am to give the shop a chance. I came back at 9:30am and the owner/inspector had still not arrived and was not responding to outreach attempts from the technician at the desk. The technician indicated that rather than wait I could take my car to another shop nearby and that he would reach out to them in advance and let them know I was coming. The technician was very polite and helpful and gave me the name and address of the shop nearby that they sometimes make referrals to, and I ended up going there. I am disappointed that I am not able to recommend this shop based on this negative experience, and despite the hundreds of good reviews this shop has. It is extremely unprofessional to create considerable scheduling conflicts with appointments that are scheduled through your online scheduling service, and then not show up for either of the scheduled times and keep your customer waiting on a scheduled service. I would like to give this shop another chance if the opportunity arises but would need an explanation for why this incident occurred the way that it did.
